András Zoltai : QURNAWI — Returning to El-Khokha

The opening of QURNAWI — Returning to El-Khokha, András Zoltai’s new exhibition, took place on 11 June 2026 at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest. The exhibition was officially opened by Balogh Rudolf Award-winning photographer Róbert László Bácsi. Through contemporary and archival photographs, the exhibition explores the enduring relationship between the Qurnawi community, the landscape of El-Khokha, and the work of the Hungarian Archaeological Mission in Thebes. The exhibition remains on view at the Capa Center’s 8F Gallery until 20 September 2026.
