The opening of QURNAWI — Returning to El-Khokha, András Zoltai’s new exhibition, took place on 11 June 2026 at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest. Through contemporary and archival photographs, the exhibition explores the enduring relationship between the Qurnawi community, the landscape of El-Khokha, and the work of the Hungarian Archaeological Mission in Thebes. The exhibition remains on view at the Capa Center’s 8F Gallery until 20 September 2026.
