NatGeo Explorer ‘24
I am excited to announce that I have become a National Geographic Explorer in 2024!
Thanks to National Geographic Society grant I will continue my long-term documentary project titled ‘Blue Memoir’. I am extremely happy that I can push this story forward and work on such an important issue of our times.
As an Explorer, I will focus on issues of water and its isolation in a central European country, Hungary, that is supposed to be a water superpower. My approach is to explore the fragile and vulnerable relationship between humans and water at metaphorical levels through my human encounters and memories from my homeland, but keep focusing on how climate change and human negligence affect our most precious resource, the water and quality of life that surrounds it.
