Transylvania annual flea market takes place on the second weekend of October in Negreni (Romania) for more than 200 years. Every year, the fall brings together traders, shoppers and tourists from all over the country as well as guests from Western Europe. This is the place where traditional rural trading meets with culture and vibrant mood. People including craftsmen, local vendors, treasure hunters gather from the deepest corners of the country
and sell their goods hoping a brighter future.
However, the Romanian average standards of living is way below the European standard. This market is one of the biggest events in Romania, so people really want to make huge business during the festive and save money for the long winter. Someone succeed, someone not.
